Nicholas Houghton

Nicolas Houghton
Illustrator

Nicholas fell in love with drawing very early. Too small to use a pencil, he would ask family members to draw to his instructions. Since learning to hold the pencil himself, he has never put it down.

Cartoons or diagrams, animals or anatomy, Nicholas creates illustrations that educate and entertain. He enjoys developing original, fun ideas to meet his clients’ needs. His finely-tuned listening skills and insightful nature help him to create images that communicate clearly. Flexible and down-to-earth, he guides clients to bring their vision to the page.

Nicholas has worked as an illustrator for voice2words, producing the cartoons seen in this website. He has illustrated projects for Guide Dogs Victoria, including children's books and a training manual. Also on the horizon is a series of books written and illustrated himself. In addition to his illustration work, Nicholas studies Law at Deakin University.

More examples of Nicholas’ illustrations can be viewed on his website.
